Born in London, Judith studied Design and travelled widely before going to Japan and studying woodblock printing in Tokyo, with Yoshisuke Funasaka. A scholarship was awarded in 1990-91 by the Japanese government, for her further studies in printmaking.

Now based in Suffolk, Judith teaches workshops in many parts of the country in woodblock and general printmaking, at Suffolk New College. She exhibits in East Anglia, London and internationally. Her work is figurative, from images seen, and imagined. Both in colour and in black and white, becoming prints from drawings in a sketchbook.
